Hey folks – I just had a very disturbing call a few minutes ago. Has anyone here been told they are too fat for Tesla? Meaning they are too heavy to safely operate the vehicle? Thanks

This was from the SC service manager, who told me that the reason why me seat in my Model X rocked was that because I was too heavy for the seat. She kept telling me that their engineering team asked her about my size and she was uncomfortable asking (but asked me indirectly if I was over a certain weight limit). Was this, like, a prank call?
Sorry, that just sounds ludicrous - not in a good way. It wasn't an actual Tesla representative saying this, I hope?
(but asked me indirectly if I was over a certain weight limit)
250 lbsWhat was the weight limit mentioned on the call?
250 lbs
I would like to see that explanation on the service receipt or invoice. This was from the SC service manager, who told me that the reason why me seat in my Model X rocked was that because I was too heavy for the seat. She kept telling me that their engineering team asked her about my size and she was uncomfortable asking (but asked me indirectly if I was over a certain weight limit).
I'm in complete shock here. They're offering to replace the seat once again, but I simply can't believe this...
If the brackets broke or rock... take the car back in.I weigh 260 and the X sets rock because they are crap. The brackets that hold the seats to the floor are garbage.
Good Catch. Also, don't forget that Elon recently tweeted a response to Kristian Nairn (Hodor on Game of Thrones) recommending an X. He is 6'10" and 370-400 lbs.
