I just discovered I have similar issue. Rain water collecting in lid and gushes out when trunk lid opens. Adding this issue to my service center visit number 6 among other issues.

I fixed mine myself with outdoor silicone

why would I spend a dime on fixing a 40K car when it can be and should be fixed by the service center under warranty?

Because it was too simple to fix to be bothered with taking the car and leaving it at service center

It was just like 2 small holes that weren’t welded
