Imo it's all about doing quick and dirty promotional videos to showcase something to motivate more funding rather than trying to do the long boring work of making a commercial product that can scale.So the one that was supposed to pick up the sweater tried to hand it on the peg in the meeting room but obviously missed and just dropped it on the floor. Then just stood there for like 30 seconds until the gal asked to have the cup picked up.
And the one wiping up the puddle of soy sauce or whatever on the table just left the towel on the table and rolled away.
Did anyone actually watch what happened in that video before uploading it?
Look how much more of a finished product the Tesla bot looks like compare to that bot.
The hardware is so much more serious. And the tasks they are showing are actual useful stuff being nailed down rather than adding cool party tricks that are totally useless like parkour or dancing.
