The Y rear is ugly

I think the Y has a sexy as*.. I always wanted a BMW X6 - for years - I loved its big behind. Y is similar - love it... Not crazy about the snout in front - but - its cool too

What about the front end? I really want the Y, but that front end is a deal breaker for me, unless I can get a good body kit to change it.
Both the 3 and the Y front ends look ugly to me. Wish they had made it more like the S.

If you want ugly, just check out the front end of a Toyota or Lexus. I'd been a Toyota guy for a long time but just couldn't make myself buy there new ugly front end. Went Mercedes instead in 2015.

We wish! Then we would be furious! Instead we are just fast... unlike the ‘90’s civic. Rear end being ugly is not a concern when you drive the vehicle, I promise you can’t see the rear end while driving, you can barely see anything out the back. Most others will spend plenty of time looking at it, so maybe you are trying not to offend anyone on the road. For better or worse they are branding their vehicles to look a certain way. Tesla often mentions the 911, trying to get that signature design, for better or worse.

101% agree with you! I got my M3 on Day 1 order (2016). Still love it very much, want to look for the Y with higher profile, roomier inside. But, the urgly and cheap bumper really turn me off! It is one of the worst bumper design in over my 40 years driving. Just redesign the rear bumper, getting rid of the black cheap rubber and plastic bumper. Believe me, Sale with pick up again!

Lots can be done with that plastic to change the looks and even improve the aero. But to each their own; haters gonna hate.

I was driving behind a blue Model Y today and damn that rear end is ugly looking. Easily the worst looking rear end I've seen on a crossover.

The pics don't make it look bad but that lower part of the bumper looks totally disproportionate to the small tail lights.

Could have agreed more but i did install the turn signals from amazon and they look amazing
