However, all of the chargers were replaced and functional by Monday evening.

Or the same people from doing it again, depending on the charges.
The court would have to determine if the value of what they stole even goes beyond a misdemeanor.
If not, they're back on the street in no time.

I'm sure at something like ~$5k/cable, ~$90k for that site, that it is way beyond a misdemeanor.
