In the comments someone says that the a Semi with the same licence plate was in the hands of another company a while ago. That would suggest that it might be news that Costco is testing it (and possibly a new video), but it would not be a recently produced semi. IMHO it is more important that...

Hadn´t heard of him resigning so I googled. All I found to support it is this tweet: So if true (I would still call it a rumour if only confirmed by one twitter source, even if well known) he did not leave Tesla but did switch positions. He still has the Tesla T in his X account and on...

IMHO there is a big difference between FSD and bot: FSD is designed to be used on public roads and has to deal with lots and lots of crazy edge cases that come along once in 10 years or so. To make it safe for those, the training requires tons of driving data because such cases have to be...

Haha, did COVID build cars? Just having the demand is not enough, you also need to have the production capacity - back then they still had to build and ramp factories which they did in an impressive way.

NYT has often been critized here to be anti-Tesla, but in this article (while it is mostly quite superficial) they at least get Tesla´s role in self driving tech right:

I saw that, too. Last one in EU on the 4/29 also, since then only China. But I think we have to wait for a couple more days.. If there´s nothing new in a week, that would be a differen thing.

Yeah, if you look at the linked in thread there are already people from other companies offering positions. Still don´t like the extreme way Elon treats people, basically like they were robots not human beings.

I already got a call back after I registered earlier today, they just wanted to know on which day I was coming and at what approximate time. They also 'sold' me a Highland test drive in the process so I can compare to my 2019 Model 3 LR :).

I think the idea is to give FSD a hard problem to solve and see how it improves over time, not to get out of his neighborhood as efficiently as possible. There may be other locations where it is not possible to avoid an unprotected left turn, so it does have a value for FSD being able to...

I wonder if cancelling the trip to India (reason: "Too much to do for Tesla at home" IIRC) in reality had more to do with China... My guesses: - Either FSD in China seemed like a higher priority to Elon - or as China likely wouldn´t like Tesla setting up production in India, they used that as...

This sounds like a tour to me where they will present the Cybertruck. Doesn´t mean they´ll launch it. Would not make that much sense (except for general Tesla PR) IMHO when they are still very much production constrained in the US alone.

This is not at all anything official, just an open minded officer from Sweden informing themselves what FSD can do. Good PR on Tesla’s side, but Sweden as well as the rest of Europe depends on UNECE moving ahead and that will take years still Ian afraid.
