Where do u "set ride height calibration at 20" ? Confused by this statement...If you have 20inch wheels (set ride height calibration at 20) and then set the wheel size for 22 inch I think it drops the std height about an inch lower
Update. I snapped a ball off the sensor arm today while adjusting the height. It’s not a strong design. I bolted the ball back on. I had to go buy a 10 mm deep set socket to get the sensor off. The more expensive version could have been adjusted on the car. Live and learn.
Hmm.. if u plug in stock tire sizes for both in calculator, overall tire height is negligible...There’s a spec for. Ride height on the model x that’s 258 in the front 189 in the rear ..that’s where the std height should be ..if you set the wheels for 22 inch that height will be different so it sets the car lower if you actually have 20 inch wheels but set the car for 22 inch wheels
Double jamb nuts and loctite.Bad design for sure. Nice fixit job. Did you add a dab of threadloc so the screw doesn't work itself loose?
FWIW Hardrace makes adjustable rear camber and toe arms which I plan to install when I'm out of warranty. They're $214 per. So under $500 for now being able to adjust rear camber and toe. Vs the much more expensive options, this is a no brainer and Hardrace is a well respected suspension part manufacturer.
Oh yeah? Go on....They have been around for a long time but they use cheap components, read: bushings. Easily remedied though!

Why not lower the front first then align? It only lowers the front. A tad more camber up there is fine with me. Keeps the rear at stock settings.
I just went eBay and searched for the cheapest ones. 75$ a pair I think. They were not pretty but worked.
It should be done that way. To get the car tagged I need to pass inspection which meant new tires which I always get aligned at the time. Then months later the shudder got worse. And I didn’t have time to take it 2.5 hours to the service center. So the lower links were on about 6 months. Why not lower the front first then align?
