i know nothing about tires o than that on a tesla i have to get a new set e 10k miles - too much power for bald tires...

I had the same issue, its called lead foot . put your car in Chill and watch the milage pile up

Shims are the way to go for people who only care about tires

Hankook ION EV tires for me. Discount Tires carries them. Not square, but extremely quiet, much better than the OEM contis. Plus probably 10% better mileage, but the jury is still out on that. I need to come up with a road trip to verify. Certainly not worse.

Interesting. Yes I have heard of Hankook, maybe I’ll give them a shot next. Yokohama Parada Spec X seems not bad so far! Yeah I need a couple long drives to verify improvement in mileage. So far I was at about 345 Wh/mi with the 22”.

Efficiency with new tires is worse until they wear a bit, then should return to "normal"

The X isn't picky, you just hear a lot more in an electric car.
