rear ended on a two month old car by a driver without drivers license and insurance policy, what are my options?

oh no the license plate is visible! We all know what that means!

(i have no CLUE what it means, and why people blur the plates in photos. As if the car isnt out in public where millions will see it over time)

Sorry to hear about your accident - curious to hear how you went about repairing it.

Did you end up going through insurance or just pay out of pocket? (Concern with insurance would presumably be the car would have it on the record).

Curious how much it cost to replace the bumper and if it looks like new now.
