Thanks for posting that video. I thought it was very gracious of the Russian cosmonaut to offer his congratulations on the successful launch and docking of Crew Dragon. And I chuckled when the American astronaut gave her congratulations to “SpaceX and Boeing”, as if Boeing had something to do with the occasion of the first Crew Dragon visit to ISS.

I wish they had spent more time with the camera inside the Dragon! I want to see into all the corners and see the big control screen.

A bit late, as the site was preventing my photo uploads...

I know @SMAlset already posted similar ones, but I have to post my favs from the first 2 hours of the docking day.

First, a handful of cool cloud formations with Crew Dragon apparently floating right on top of them:

Looks tiny and vulnerable in this one:

Thrusters! As awesome as the firey view of the thrusters was on final approach (if you have not seen that, go check it out), the view from farther away just on the edge of the terminator showed how far those jets go out. Powerful stuff!

And when you see the SpaceX Crew Dragon overlay (a simulation of what astronauts will see on the Dragon’s screens), you can see the thrusters firing on that little display at the bottom right of the screen:

Am assuming all theses colours are dead pixels in the camera, probably (maybe) caused by space radiation. You know, the stuff that will shorten your lifespan on the trip to Mars...

And these, well, just because:

Plausible. Also could just be some random glint/prisiming. Also could be navagation lights—you can see similar colors in a pic in post 130 from @SMAlset.

Edit—they’re nav lights. Check post 134, also from @SMAlset.

Edit—lol at me not seeing the colors you were talking about. Yes, dead pixels or possibly single pixel stars.

Great marketing for Celestial Buddies. Also some good PR for NASA and SpaceX. If Anne McClain wasn't a government employee they'd be paying her for increasing sales. Most collectors will likely hold out for a real Earth replica. The original one pictured with Anne will probably end up on display somewhere, perhaps wearing a Silver Snoopy pin. The DM-1 hatch closure is just a few hours away. Suppose the question now is, how soon will Earth be returning to Earth? I'm not sure if anyone can pry it from her hands!
