Are you sure the are v4 and not a different brand? Was at this site Sunday morning and counted at least 18 V4 chargers in place (but still barricaded off). These were in addition to the existing 48 stalls.
No - I saw the Mercedes ones as well which were open.@oholladay where they the ones pictured in post 129 of this thread or even more in another location?
I actually just looked closer at the picture and they're installing V4 pedestal chargers there! Are they expanding this site? There's a check-in on Plugshare for the Chargepoint location at Buccees posted 5/7/24 showing tesla chargers bagged and the construction area fenced off.
Based on this Plugshare photo posted yesterday, yes.So new installs are still occurring? Given all the news lately, I feared the worst.
The photo is too fuzzy for me to tell, but I can clearly count 2 unwrapped + 15 wrapped pedestals, but that ends up being an odd number of 17. Do you see more? Guess I need to find the plans.Based on this Plugshare photo posted yesterday, yes.
Considering there appears to be 5 cabinets and these are PSU, there should be 20 stalls. The photo is too fuzzy for me to tell, but I can clearly count 2 unwrapped + 15 wrapped pedestals, but that ends up being an odd number of 17. Do you see more? Guess I need to find the plans.
Any projects that had already broken ground at the time of the layoffs were allowed to continue. There have been delays while contractors waited for new Tesla Point of Contacts since most if not all of their old contacts were terminated but anything already under construction should be allowed to finish. So new installs are still occurring? Given all the news lately, I feared the worst.
Thats what I want to hear. Now I can go to bedTesla was doing maintenance there on the regular cabinets last week so I stopped and talked to the guy about all the recent news - he said Tesla Energy has been doing all the work on the SCs and while the layoff stinks it didn’t affect him at all. He said they’re still as busy as ever with installs and upgrades.
