South Australia is to activate and enforce the U class drivers licence from end of the year after enabling legislation was enacted in 2022
To get U:
Additional driving course
Special fines if traction aids or automated stability systems are disabled
Cars which require U class licence = 292kW per tonne or more)
Should not affect any EV sold in Australia??
I think the M3P comes in under 200kW/tonne??
While not sold in AU MSPlaid would require a U license in SA
Though the "driving course" is no more than an "online course".
