If the Budde was more retro like the pic above, I would set foot in a VW dealership for the first time in my life. I so want an old bus. A new one that's electric would be even better. I really think VW missed the mark in the styling dept.

We have a TDI Jetta in the family. Only 60k miles, already $8,000 worth of repairs. No more VW for us. As soon as the Model 3 comes out, the TDI will be replaced (that is if it doesn't get crushed first).

i thought the old vw bus is quite often converted to electric as it can have huge range due to lots of space for batteries?
