Haha I hear ya. I think it’s more common to allow tint up front in the southern states because of the heat. For officer safety law enforcement likes being able to see inside the vehicles on traffic stops.

In New Hampshire one is limited to tinting the rear windows up to a max of 35%. There is a medical waiver that allows the front windows to be tinted with the proper medical documentation. I have tinted the rear windows of some of my vehicles because I like the look.

I have bought several (not Teslas) cars from Massachusetts dealers. Each time an employee of the dealership drove the vehicle to a NH DMV site and I took possession there. This is how one gets around the sales tax. If you take delivery in MA a NH resident is subject to the MA sales tax.

Yes. On another vehicle I bought from Texas and had shipped to NH, the vehicle came with a 60 day Texas temporary plate. I drove the vehicle for more than a month with the Texas plate and no NH inspection sticker.

One is driving with a valid temporary plate from another state. The period of time that it is valid is detailed on the plate. The temporary plate is not limited to usage in the state that issues it. Register in NH before the temporary plate expires and one will have complied with the law.

I would wait until July so that I don’t pay for the month of June.

I bought a car online from a Texas car dealership 3 years ago. The car came with a 60 day temporary Texas plate. I drove it for a good 6 weeks before I registered it in NH.

How does the ride quality compare with your 2 Teslas? I have read that the MYP rides firm/harsh and the 3 is more forgiving. I realize that a firm ride is fine with some, especially if one has a performance oriented preference.

Well that is high praise indeed! I have been researching Teslas like crazy since the recent price reduction. I am both impressed and surprised as to the number of posts from Tesla owners who have a history of owning performance vehicles.

Most of my vehicles have been primarily Hondas, along with other Japanese makes, Nissan, Toyota and Mazda. All have been excellent in their reliability. Thanks again for the informative posts!

I think all the Tesla wheel covers are unattractive. One of my first mods would be to take them off. I realize they increase range, but the amount is not enough for me to leave them on.

Interesting. Just took a look at the Tesla site and the MYP is listed with a lowered suspension, but not the 3.

I watched parts of the video regarding the Lexus purchase for his wife. The Lexus grill is polarizing at best! The fuel efficiency is a joke. I think I can put up with a few panel gaps on my Tesla😀
