In my app some superchargers have a price scale that tells you the price per kw depending on the time. Some don't. Does that mean its a set price throughout the day and doesn't fluctuate? I included 2 examples

Powerwall outdoor in cold climate: My powerwall is being installed in Bailey, CO 8400ft elevation, on covered outdoor deck, and I’m worried about cold temperatures. I see there is a cold weather kit. I was also considering an insulated enclosure of some nature. I recorded -11F lows earlier this year. (FYI- I don’t have an option to mount indoors anywhere). Has anybody have similar conditions, with info to share? Has anybody insulated to help mitigate problem?

Hey all, I’m having an issue with unlocking my MYLR. It works sometimes… but I almost always have to actually open/unlock my iPhone (iPhone 15, iOS 17.0.3) to get the car to unlock.

Has anyone experienced this before or have a fix?

Has anyone had their boot seal replaced under warranty? Added some pictures showing the misalignment which is allowing water into the boot area.

Need to replace the worn out Tesla Model S door rubber trim along the rear bottom.

Has anyone had any experience with noise from front upper control arms? Got quite a bit of noise when stationary turning the wheel. Attached some pictures and as I was taking them spotted a rusted o ring which is the same for both sets on either side of the wheel which looks suspicious.

Hey y’all, I have a Lectron V-box that has a Tesla charging handle/gun. I have it plugged into my 14-50 outlet. This outlet is shared between my RV and Tesla. This sharing is why I didn’t hardwire the V-box or just get the wall connecter . Well the V-box handle/gun thumb button is not holding up to a couple months of pressing, it’s junky.

Does anyone know of any other level 2 chargers that plug into a 14-50 with a Tesla handle? Other than a gen 2 unicorn wall connecter, that I cannot find anywhere

Suddenly; "unable to locate vehicle" message- anyone?

The message "unable to locate vehicle" showed up very recently out of nowhere after Tesla's s/w update- now installed 2023.38.4. Tesla M Y.
My cellphone is connected, the LTE comm is working, all navigation is OK, the car knows where it is at (the red arrow on the car display is in the correct position). I even restarted both the Tesla and my phone. Still- doesn't work.

Any one experience this? and advice?

I want to add my daughter's Apple Music account so when she's in the Tesla, she can use her own playlists, etc. I read on another forum that someone accomplished this by adding a new profile as 'Daddy driving kid'. When I do this, and I go to the Apple Music app, I scan the QR code with my daughters account, I get a follow up from Apple saying to 'Enter Code Displayed on your Device'...there is no code being displayed on the device, just the QR code?? Is there a fix for this or am I potentially doing something wrong? I have not set up my daughter as a driver via the Tesla app (she is 11) which is going to be my next attempt (setting up a driver as 'Daddy driving kid').
Hopefully someone out there has ran in to this issue and figured out a fix, there is nothing online...

My iPod touch (model A1574 version 12.5.7) no longer connects to my 2019 model 3 (version 2023.38.4). Tested and the car connects to my iPhone, and the iPod connects to other devices, including other teslas. Anyone have any fixes?

However, when I ran a car fax on it, the report showed it was a branded title due to a buy back. He ensured me that the carfax is incorrect and he has a clean title in hand.

I called the salesman and he said a couple of things that I do not understand. I’m hopeful someone who has experience with Tesla’s can help me.

1) He said that mileage doesn’t matter on Tesla’s.

2) He said the only maintenance I will ever need done to the car is changing a $200, 250v battery for the computer every 5 years and changing the tires when they are due to be changed.

3) He said that even though this car has a clean title, a buy-back branded title means nothing with Tesla’s. He explained that basically a person can report a problem with the car and Tesla buys it back, repairs the problem and then it’s back on the market at a very discounted price with a branded title. The car is good as new.

4) He also said the window seals will crack and break, but it doesn’t leak.

Can anyone support or refute these claims?

My Model 3 sat nav directions occasionally show European road numbers for UK roads eg E05!
For instance driving on the M4 I had E15, or M3 had E05 I believe. The map itself is fine and shows the UK Road numbers accurately.
I try restarting the sw but it doesn’t seem to fix anything.
Is there a setting I can change or is it a flaw in the UK sat nav mapping data?

Is cargo liner for Model X - 5 seater exactly the same from 2016 to 2023?

I've had my X Plaid for more than a month now. When I took delivery I didn't notice anything wrong with the car but after I got home and drove it more it started to hear this crackling sound coming from underneath the car. It's the loudest in the morning after it's been sitting in my garage all night and is only really audible at low speeds. I took it to a service center and they said they greased some of the wheels and that solved the issue. It's hard to re-create after I drive the car for a bit so when they test drove it after the "fixing" it, it wasn't making any noise. I noticed it the next day as I am pretty tuned into the noise by now. Attached is a video of me pulling out of my garage and driving down the block. Anyone else experienced this?

I placed an order for a new Model X with the understanding that I could transfer my free charging from my 2018 model X to the new Tesla . I was just informed by the dealer that the delivery date has been changed to January or February 2024 and that Tesla might not honor the promotional incentive since the new Tesla delivery is scheduled after December 2023. WTF, has anyone heard the same thing? If this isn’t bait and switch, I don’t know what is!!

Last month it was 2x curb rash in less than 24 hours of ownership. 1x my wife the day we get car 1x our son the very next day. So I’m over that, same wheel dinged twice.

Okay. I got home today and noticed 4 lic plate bolt marks or rear (unpainted) part of bumper! Come on! Someone hit car, backed up, and hit it again. Wth?

I recently had a 14-50 outlet installed, but as soon as I went to use the mobile charger I got nothing. The charger does not light up when plugged in. The charger works fine with a 14-30 or 120v adapter and outlet.

I have tested two different 14-50 adapters and checked the outlet carefully to make sure it was properly installed. It was. Yet, no matter what the mobile charger is dead when I try to plug it into the 14-50. There are no lights. Nothing. Can anyone point me in the right direction for possible solutions?

I'm looking into buying a 2014 Model S but it's missing the nose cone. I have a Polestar 2 and love it and wanted to get a second EV but know nothing about the Tesla S.
I understand there were some changes with parking sensors / no sensors but I didn't find a list of the changes searching here.

This car has one plug that is visible to me hanging from the front where the nose cone will go. I assume for a sensor or camera?

Would appreciate any help on what the part number nose cone I might need, and sensors

A couple months ago, I was in an accident where there was damage to the front bumper and coolant hose was ripped. The body shop had made all the repairs. However, these active alerts are still present and they have no idea how to go about it and it’s just been a guessing game which is costing me a lot. Has anybody ever dealt with these before and how was it resolved?

I have 2023 model Y LR and Tesla wall charger. In The Tesla app I have set charging limit to 80% but the car stops charging at 79%. If I want to have 80% I need to set the charge limit to 81%. It only started happening recently in the past I was able to get full 80%.
Has nobody seen this issue?
