I gave up my fsd subscription and now using basic autopilot- question when i engage does it always engage at my present speed or follow the offset to posted speed? Today im driving with it engaged and speed limit is 45mph and i am cruising at 70mph. So it ignores speed limit and offset?

Found these in my glove box. The look like hooks for a suit jacket or something.

The left side camera just stopped working out of nowhere. It was working during my morning commute, but later on it decided to stop working. Now all I’m getting is the black loading screen. I tried resetting the screen and that did nothing. On my way home it started working then completely shut off on the highway. I checked the camera preview and the camera shows up for a split second then turns black. I went into the service menu and it said the camera frames have been dropped? I scheduled service for next Tuesday. Any tips in the meantime to get it running again?

I'm looking for an inexpensive option for a "spare" tire and rim to be used only when rotating tires for my Model Y Long Range. I'd like to avoid purchasing a true spare or a 2nd floor jack in order to rotate my tires. Any insights on which rims might work? Ideally I'd pickup an inexpensive rim and tire at an auto salvage yard but need a rim that would fit my Tesla.

Why is the tesla alarm so sensitive, What can i do in order to make sure and to guarantee it won't go off once i adjust some settings??? I have seen youtube videos and experienced the alarm going off myself and it seems it's really prone to going off regardless of what you do, Seems like you can only drive it manually - (As autopilot seems to still be glitchy) and charge the car, You can't even sit in the car without it locking and you move your arse off the seat to turn on or off the interior lights without the alarm going off. WHY???!??!!!!?????

I successfully transferred full self driving from my 2019 S to my new 2023 S. The full self driving still is working in the 2019 S. Will it transfer to the new owner in a private sale?

Anyone have 2 booster seats and one car seat in their model 3? I have 2,4 and 5 year old. Right now all 3 are in car seats (the diono radian 3R) they fit fine but the kids are in 99 percentile for height so they’ll be our growing car seat soon. I bought 2 graco boosters but buckling is near impossible with the way Tesla buckles are set up. Any suggestions or anyone have smaller booster seat suggestions? Thanks guys!

Just got my first one, a P85+ w/AP1, and wanted to get tint, ppf, and maybe ceramic coat sometime soon.

I’ve seen Genesis Window Tinting in Elk Grove recommended here on the forums and was wondering if there are any other shops known for doing teslas near by?

Does anyone know if this is a known issue and if the manufacter (Tesla) have any help for me and my car, I have read about more MS 90D -16 that has the same issue.

The car is now toed to a dealer for repairs but I am probebly the one that need to pay for this failiure???

Ik wil als particulier in het EV verhaal stappen (en dus niet enkel op de kermis elektrisch rijden).

Mijn oog is gevallen op de twee instapmodellen van de M3 of MY (keuze is nog niet gemaakt). Tesla biedt naast de klassieke lening ook de fameuze ballon lening aan. Met uiteraard een stuk lagere maandelijkse afbetaling en vreemd genoeg ook 1% minder JKP dan de klassieke formule.

Het venijn zit hem uiteraard in de staart of ballon. Bij de meeste andere merken heb je na afloop van je krediet de mogelijkheid om de auto terug in te leveren, al dan niet op voorwaarde dat je een nieuwe kiest. Lukt dit bij Tesla ook? Of ben je sowieso verplicht om de ballon/restwaarde te betalen?

Het interessante aan die restwaarde volgens de website van Tesla is dat ze constant blijft. Om als voorbeeld de goedkoopste MY RWD te nemen: de ballon of restwaarde blijft op €27823 of je nu op 3, 4 of 5 jaar afbetaald. Hoe werkt dit dan? Meestal varieert dit per jaar of per gereden km.

Iemand ervaring met de ballon lening?

2017 Model S odometer vanished since recent software update - 2022.8.10.16. Bottom of screen with VIN on app now shows version not odometer. Read many threads and no info. Looked at account/software & everywhere actually with no luck. Is it just me? Apologize if it is in front of my nose…but have tried to find.

Would anyone know if there’s any way to outfit my Model Y to charge external devices such as e-bikes?

I have recently purchased Model Y RWD in july 2023 Berlin made. I have purchased after market products Head up display 9inch Linux power source CAN bus vlue on the front passenger pillar . I have installed as per instructions it worked fine.

I have purchased rear screen from hanshow Andriod H7 model they suggested me to connect the cable only to CAN since i dont have OBD cable in the back side so i have tried connecting and i was able to connect and it worked fine for few days, all of a sudden my front display Linux 9inch and rear screen both stopped working i have removed the cables and reconnected restarted many times but no luck.

Any suggestions how to fix the issue ?

Note i have tested the rear screen in other tesla it was working fine but no idea what is going wrong ?

I’m at the tesla charge station to charge up my model s but my charge port door won’t open up at all it makes the noise but it still not opening up what can I do?

I am brand new to tesla and charging
I had a tesla level 2 charger installed in my garage and I would like to set a schedule to charge on weekends and not just weekdays as I am retired but my wife still works on the weekends only but she is off during the week so we drive little during the week and for me off peak rates are not only 11p to 7a on weekdays but also both all hours on Saturday and Sunday are off peak rates also. The app only has a all week or weekday option but not specific days am I not looking in the right spot or is that just the way it is. So im not sure if I should just leave the schedule option on my iPhone turned off and just plug it in or other also do I always to select start charging from my iPhone to start charging.

Bought new 2023 Tesla. When I walk away from the vehicle it honks once and on my app it shows the car is unlocked? I lock it with the app and it honks twice. Any tips on what is going wrong?

Hey there everyone I'm a new member just bought a model y 2023 long range. Still getting used to everything it's only been a couple weeks but in about 10 days my temporary registration runs out and I still haven't gotten my new registration yet. Anybody else have this problem and have any solutions? Was hoping not to have to try to contact Tesla cuz I haven't had the greatest response from them so far. Also I can't seem to "like" any posts on these forums. Feel like a real noob here.
Lastly I see they're already a lot of posts on this but I have to say the auto wipers are kind of crap. Not what I expect from Tesla at this point whom I think is generally pretty awesome. They turn on in perfectly dry weather and they do not turn on when it's pouring rain. So then I have to look down at the screen and find the right button to push and then I have to look back at it when I want to speed them up, etc, etc. Anyway it sounds like I'm not the only one with this problem hoping we get some updates soon.

Just a quick question,

Is it normal to have a split in the left headlight like the picture attached. People have always flashed thinking my lights are on high beam but recently a passenger commented on how high the top section of my left light was shining. Is it normal to have a split in the left beam like this?
