Stories of someone's cracked casting. Should we worry about this?

This story started back in May and nothing since. Wonder why the OP has gone silent?
He didn’t post it on Twitter until like a week ago.

Presumably noticed it in May, didn’t get into service until July, service said it was fine and probably went back and forth a few times until he said F it I’m going to Twitter because service wouldn’t help any further.

Remove the rear tire and inner fender liner, shine a flashlight on the crack to see if the light goes through. I am sure Tesla will say that is normal, but it is not. My bet is that you will be denied a warranty claim, that has become the norm with Tesla's valid warranty claims
I guess you don't have a Tesla since Tesla cars do not come with a spare tire

He didn't say remove the spare tire. He said remove the rear tire.
This issue has been beaten to death. These cracks are not in a structural area of the casting. They are in a thin filler area between structural members and thus do not affect the structural integrity of the car.
