For those of us who don't subscribe to Premium Connectivity Tesla would probably prefer we did rather than listen to something else.
Today's the day where more people will be on the new version than not.

Given my DC charging unavailable came up on the same day my update happened I wonder if it's borking something serious.Might have been paused:

2024.14.6 installed to my 2018 S yesterday morning with a tremendous 57 minutes wait to complete.
Seems okay in general, only thing I've noticed is feeling need to disengage AP before red traffic lights, sensing that braking would be too harsh otherwise.

Yes of course, they are rolling to people who first got their MY delivered two years ago at present, so you should receive your 2024.14 update somewhere in the middle of 2026...
I think it's just very very random. My car updated the day I got it, then again three further times in the first month.
Same for me, got an update notification while sat on a supercharger on the way home from picking the car up on the 19th Feb 2022 and then another three within the first month. Very random.

My car has been parked in a field near Gatwick this week and I see the software update is not longer waiting for WiFi to download like it was a couple of days ago. 
Their update frequency has been very slow for the last two (just as they’re sacking a load of people, go figure).
Previously I’ve averaged 15 days between updates, with only 1 update gap over 30 days, and 2 over 20 days.
On the latest two updates I was 33 days and am up to 38 days since my last update, so it’s evident they’re either understaffed or spending more time on them.
I can maybe forgive them for this one as it’s the first time we get an FSD 12 packaged software version and there might be bugs.

There is nothing random about updates.
They are always rolled out in sequence. The first cars to receive updates have a VIN number divisible by 3 when there is an”R” in the month or divisible by 4 when there is no “R”. In both cases, there should be no less than 42 psi in all four tyres.
