Who is talking about value? So we should liter the ocean with plastics because it's not valuable to recycle, but you're telling me to do my part - when the agencies designed to combat this aren't doing their part? If they're not recycling plastic - what makes you so sure they're recycling...

What about the empty offices spaces that no one used all of COVID till present - they still turn on all their lights. Do those not pollute? Or is it just gas cars?

I'm sure they're recycling it as they do the plastics in the ocean. Without oil or gas, there would be no machinery to mine the lithium, or recycle it. :) Pretty much everything, and anything is a byproduct of oil/gas.

Ah - thank you for letting me know. It's really unfortunate. I'm just waiting for Mercedes to release their EV - right now the only reason to go for Tesla is the supercharger network.
