Interesting. I have a '21 Plaid with 19's and tires (Bridgestone Potenza sport) with around 4k miles on them. It's in the shop and I got a loaner Plaid with 21" wheels. This car hooks WAY better than mine. My car is definitely reducing power to avoid slip. Night and day. Any 19" Plaid people...

That's great news. Yeah, I also don't rub against getting in and out of the car. I think my "repetitive stress" spot is my preferred maneuver when having to crank the yoke in U turns and 3 point turns. (No rubbing or cranking yokes please) 🤣

All done! New yoke (and got to keep the old one - xbox mod?). I don't think the craftsmanship issue has been fixed yet so pretty sure I'll reply to this post with an update within 14 months.

Quick follow-up, I replied to the scheduler mentioning that I would cancel the appt, not pay the money, and that this is warranty repair that I would investigate with CA Lemon law. I got a reply mentioning that they provide the estimate as a worst case scenario in case negligence is determined...

Welp, my 14 month plaid yoke is peeling. I'm in CA and service center wants to charge $900 to fix it. Citing cosmetic repairs are not covered under warranty. What to do?
