2015 S RWD won't go to drive without unplugging battery sensor

Hi Everyone, I'm facing a weird issue with the 2015 S RWD, which has 108k miles; the main battery was dead because the car was parked for a long time and had to replace the LV 12V battery (new from Tesla). the HV battery charged until 99%, tried to put the car into D or R and I received the...

Do you mean the toolbox version? I use the toolbox online version, I'm not seeing any other way for the toolbox also there is no command for clear crash load in the toolbox

2022 Model 3 LR.(Salvage vehicle) HV Battery contactors not closing due to crash event in VCfront

It's valid for any new/used hardware connected to the car for the first time, like Headlights, foglights, any module, etc... but not for RCM reset. However, for the drive unit, you will need to perform different functions through the ToolBox only; you can search for it through the ToolBox...

2022 Model 3 LR.(Salvage vehicle) HV Battery contactors not closing due to crash event in VCfront

But even with replacing the VCfront withe new one; most likely you will need the ToolBox to redeploy the software updates to get the car to recognize the new hardware

2022 Model 3 LR.(Salvage vehicle) HV Battery contactors not closing due to crash event in VCfront

The main problem that I see here is the software version 2022.28 it came with many issues, I had a similar situation in my model 3 and a friend of mine in his model S as well and we both had to send the cars to Tesla SC to manually push the update to each module one by one, my understanding this...

2022 Model 3 LR.(Salvage vehicle) HV Battery contactors not closing due to crash event in VCfront

Depends sometimes the car with older versions won't go to service mode with full function it will keep loading service mode functions without going anywhere. The only option then is redeploy through the toolbox

Salvage 2022 Model Y LR. High Voltage Battery contactors not closing. Car has the new Li-Ion 12v battery.

Thank you all for the help and support, and special thanks @Nintendo80 I was able to get the car back to life after replacing the VC Front, a few notes here to keep in mind here: -If you have coolant issues, you have to fix them first. Otherwise, the pumps won't be able to purge and won't close...

Salvage 2022 Model Y LR. High Voltage Battery contactors not closing. Car has the new Li-Ion 12v battery.

Glad you got yours fixed, I have few questions for you, you're the expert here. Do you have to connect all electric plugs for the headlights and taillights to get over the FRONT codes and close the contactors? Do you need to jump the car after replacing the VFRONT , if yes what is the right way...
