    EMF Radiation

Many studies do show harm to living organisms from chronic exposure to EMF. This includes damage to cells, destruction of DNA, and the many disorders that stem from such damage such as reproductive issues and cancer. The statement "there is no evidence" is so outdated that many have continued...

Selling Radio Flyer Model S for Kids

Another bachelor selling my code for the Founder's Series Model S for Kids. The code will let you configure the car and have it sent directly to your house. Ordering now shows arrival in time for Christmas. This config + taxes + shipping would otherwise cost upwards of $600.... yours for $450...

Founders Series Model S for Kids

"Tire Pressure Monitor Service Required" Error Message

Hmm... which leaves it up to the end-user to disable. I'm guessing there's no way to do this in the service menu? Mine has failed now for the third time in five years. Would love to just be rid of them.

Headlight conversion to HID on the Roadster

I've still got the notoriously dim stock headlights. The high-beams are fine. Has anyone tried simply lowering the aim of the high-beams so they don't point as high and can just be left on during night driving?

Front Speaker adaptor rings 4" to 5-1/4"

My plan is to leave the front speakers alone, add tweeters to the doors, and upgrade the rears to 5 1/4". Seems to me that with all the ambient noise when the top is off, the rear speakers are much easier to hear anyway. Can we hear from someone who has upgraded the rears to larger speakers...

Tesla Service Center wants how much for a battery repair?

Well said. I too look forward to having more people and companies out there with the knowhow to keep my Roadster running.

What's gone wrong with your Roadster?

Yeah, good idea. From reading the forums, whether you pay $10, $1,000 or $10,000 to have your PEM fixed seems to depend on which service center and which tech you get. Unfortunate that I have to have my Roadster towed from one service center to another like I'm playing the lottery.

What's gone wrong with your Roadster?

My PEM just failed for the second time. First time under warranty. Second time not. Tesla Burlingame has told me that since they don't open up the PEM to repair it, I'll have to buy a brand new one for $10,000. Gas savings are nice, but cost of ownership on an out of warranty Roadster is...

    PEM Failure

My PEM has failed for the second time. Tesla Burlingame has told me that since they don't open up the PEM to repair it, I'll have to buy a brand new one for $10,000.

    PEM Failure

Roadster just died with power train error. Tesla Burlingame told me it's something with the PEM and that "unfortunately they don't open up the PEM" and so it'll be $10k for a new one. So I want to register this experience here. Some people claim to have been charged $10 by Tesla to fix the PEM...

    Menlo Park or Fremont?

Just had my Roadster towed to the Burlingame store. They said it has a problem with the PEM and that "unfortunately they don't even open up the PEM" and so installing a new PEM will be $10,000. No other options. There are pics on TMC of JB Straubel opening up a PEM and replacing some fuses to...

    #777 - Silver - Raleigh, NC

It is. Though, I haven't been advertising it. Who *really* wants to part with their Roadster? : )

    #777 - Silver - Raleigh, NC

Listed for $83,000. Best value, in my opinion, currently on cars.com (listing).
