Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

When I got my 1st Model 3 in 2019 I was with Allstate, and had the same experience. Ended up with a good rate with Progressive.

Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

Was delivery an option when you ordered? It used to be available up our way, but pick up was the only option I saw. I'm near Syracuse.

Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

They must have, I'm 265 miles from the delivery center. As far as the screen, yea for sure. I'd have cameras drop out from day 1. Some of the theatre apps are very slow too (netflix) Love the car though, and if not for the new job, I wouldn't have considered it.

Model 3 - LR AWD Waiting Room

Just put in a new order today. I've had a SR+ since 4/19. I recently got a job that's pushing the limits in the winter, so it was time to upgrade. With the used prices, how could I not? I found it interesting that delivery wasn't an option to my address this time around. I ended up picking up...

Winter issues, frozen windows, door locks, seals, etc.

I've been using this one. The head folds flat, so it lives behind the front seats on the floor all winter. https://www.amazon.com/Snow-Moover-Extendable-Squeegee-Scraper/dp/B076PVN38H/ref=sr_1_14?keywords=snow+brush&qid=1641266324&sprefix=snow+br%2Caps%2C132&sr=8-14

Back seat cover for dogs in Model 3?

+1 on the Evannex one. I've had it over a year. Easy in / easy out, and its held up well.

Tesla removes regenerative braking strength option

With a RWD SR+, I have a "snow mode" profile saved with regen set to low. If the car were AWD, I probably wouldn't change it, but having the stopping force in the rear vs the front did not feel great the first few times, I hit a slick spot and instinctively raised my foot fully off the accelerator.

    Warranty on HPWC

When they replaced yours, did you have to send your bad unit back? I just called in a warranty on mine because the casing on one of the pins in the handle broke. They sent me a return tag to send my current unit back, but I'm thinking about getting a 2nd Tesla, so a 2nd HPWC wouldn't be a bad...

    Winter Tires on Model 3

I had very good luck with these last year as well.

Prepping for the colder months – New Comers...

The no charging @ home is going to put a dent in your range. Heating the car up from stone cold takes some work. On the flip side, you can take advantage of the charger at work before you leave. I would suggest charge towards the end of your shift as that heats the battery, and you can also use...

Prepping for the colder months – New Comers...

My main profile is "John" and I took a little artistic license and called my winter profile "Jon Snow"

How is Model 3 RWD in the snow?

I live near Syracuse NY, which is no stranger to snow, we avg 122" per year. Last year was a bit of a down year, but had zero complaints with the 3 from a driving perspective.

No auto steer on Tesla with 4/19 build date

It was 4/12/19 they made the change to all cars come with basic autopilot. I picked my car up on 4/13/19, and when I placed the order a few weeks prior, I had chosen to NOT tack on the additional autopilot cost. At time of delivery, which was literally. hours after the announcement, I was given...
