New seats or new car, my spouse HATES the M3 seats!

I dont know anything about fancy Porsche seats. I had a cayman on 19s and that car felt rough. Drove different caymans for 9 yrs and when I was younger it was fun but as I got older that wore off. Very glad to be in a model 3.

All I can say is don't get a Porsche if you find the 3 uncomfortable.

Car and Driver suffers Model 3 failure on 12/25, but car told them about it remotely

Great news, took the car into Tesla service center in dallas this morning and they had a 12V in stock and was able to get it switched out and back on the road! Didn't have time to ask for details since I was running a little late to work but I think that the thought process that many on here...

Car and Driver suffers Model 3 failure on 12/25, but car told them about it remotely

Interesting, I’ve only had my car for two months but I do leave it plugged in at night. I set it to charge to 85% though, hopefully that didn’t cause it. We’ll have to wait and see what Tesla says.

Systems powering up and 12V reduced - P3D towed to SC..

I haven't seen that message anywhere else either. Just got another error this morning (12V battery requires service. Replace 12V battery soon). I too have a model 3 performance stealth with very similar driving stats (I drive about 30 miles a day) and have it plugged in as well. My car had...

Car and Driver suffers Model 3 failure on 12/25, but car told them about it remotely

1/19/2020 Got a "12 Volt battery requires service" message today when I got into my car this morning (parked in the garage and connected to the mobile charger with the 14-50 adapter). This is starting to make me a little nervous. Picked up the car on 01/03/2020 from the dallas service center...

Car and Driver suffers Model 3 failure on 12/25, but car told them about it remotely

Got my car back yesterday and it’s fixed and ready to go! I believe they told me they replaced my rear motor as well as the pyrofuse. I was told I would get an email of what exactly was fixed so I’ll have a look at it when I get it but for now it’s great to have the car back! SC In dallas did a...

Car and Driver suffers Model 3 failure on 12/25, but car told them about it remotely

Interesting about removing the 12v. Would the car just use the big batter or would they add something else?

Car and Driver suffers Model 3 failure on 12/25, but car told them about it remotely

Following this issue on here and multiple other forums. Mostly because this just happened to my new dual motor model 3 as well. My experience with the SC in Dallas since the incident has been very different and I couldn’t be happier with their handling of this unfortunate issue. If anyone on...

Well that’s not good. I like having sentry but If it causes problems I may have to wait. Let’s see what Tesla says when they have a look at it.

Quickshifter- well looks like I’m locked out so won’t be able to check but this does seem to suggest that it’s not the 12v being unplugged. mswlogo- Interesting. I also have a model 3 stealth. I’m not sure if we have the same issue though because my car was plugged in to the mobile connector...

Systems powering up and 12V reduced - P3D towed to SC..

You're probably right. I've been reading as much as I can and was wondering if maybe somehow my seat covers (dog owner) didn't cause the 12 volt connector (red cap) under the passenger side, rear seat to get unplugged. Even though this seems like a bit of a stretch I'll try and have a look...

Systems powering up and 12V reduced - P3D towed to SC..

Having a similar issue and trying to get as much info as possible from other people. I was able to find a thread titled "12V Power Reduced, Vehicle May shut down unexpectedly" on the official Tesla forum but for some reason I'm no longer able to comment on there, there seen to be server issues...

Impressions after a week with my Model 3

Sounds like you're enjoying your car, which is great! Good to know that others have found it difficult to shut the trunk. Seems like that will change as the car gets used, so thats a plus. As for the person that sees a supercar and thinks eh no big deal, I would have called bs on this if I...

I need some convincing re: M3 Performance

I used to drive a stick shift and am now driving a stealth performance and I couldn't be happier. Although, the key difference between you and me is that I love using autopilot (not full self driving) on the highway. Makes my work commute tolerable. I too would recommend you test drive it.
