I see the sound on all of the new model y. I tried 2-3 in the showroom. All of them have it.

My cousin has 2022 model y. His steering is lot easier than my model y which I bought on 2023 Dec. Mine is a lot stiffer than his in comfort mode. Honestly, I don’t see any difference between Comfort, Standard and Sport.

I am assuming so.. because for me there is no difference between comfort, standard and sport

Nah, looks like its on all new ones. I did a demo on 2 new ones. Other people have started noticing as well. The steering vibrates heavily with groaning noise like something is rubbing internally. Operator hallucination cannot have vibrations.

Hi MDR, Do you think the service manager at Tesla service center and their technicians are delusional as well. They all did a test drive and were shocked as well. The head technician came out and she told that they did everything they could but couldn’t figure out where the groaning is coming...

Hear the sound when the car is decelerating or slowing down. Its ****ing annoying.

I don’t have that issue. Sometimes the car AC will turn on automatically to maintain the car temperature even if you are not using.

Yes, they are saying its normal. I did twice, one after another. Now they want me to put more miles on it and see if it goes away.
