    Can charge but cannot supercharge

More sharing of information: I continue to review past reports to see if there is any kind of matrix I can come up with for what symptoms are vs what was the final resolution/fix. One of the things that stands out is that the OBC seems to be the culprit the most. HVJB comes in second. I've seen...

    ASY.REMAN CHRGR, 10kW(6009278-84-F (2013 Model S)

Old thread... but curious if anyone still around that maybe followed through with the swaps of either the onboard charger or the high voltage junction box? I'm in process for doing the same thing.

    Can charge but cannot supercharge

Update on progress, if only for reference to my own open questions. A bit more YouTubing and discovered the Service Mode aspect from the console. Hadn't seen that come out. Looks like maybe two years ago it became available. But, tried in on my S and I can get access to it and it has the Coolant...

    Can charge but cannot supercharge

Per the Service Estimate: CHARGER ASSEMBLY REMANUFACTURED - 10KW(6009278-84-F) Just now getting around to understanding the HVJB and that seems logically to be more likely. And I see it also has some fuses in it. Hmmm. BTW, we had a B pack put in just after getting the car in 2018. It had an A...

Thanks. Ok. Only AC in the OBC.

Failure of the high voltage junction box - 2014 Model S

Just checkin in on any resolutions (this is quite an old thread) but I, too, have just replaced my 12v and also have supercharging issues. I just posted in Model S 2017 not able to supercharge about my own situation. Interesting that the HVJB might also be a factor here. I think in at least the...

    Can charge but cannot supercharge

Hi. Started looking around to try and do some diligence first before posting but there's a number of ways to slice this and I finally just decided that this thread seems new enough to see if I could chime in with my own info as well as my own issue. If I should spin off a new thread just say the...

Older Model S A/C Service Considerations

The service ended up costing $346.50 in labor which is just a touch over the $330 example but close enough. My wife says its been much cooler so we’ll see how long it lasts. Hope yours goes as well.

Older Model S A/C Service Considerations

Ah. Ok. Nice. I had never heard of the desiccant bag servicing. Looking at the service manual it does say to replace every two years: I definitely will go that way with Tesla service. Considering I don't think the A/C has been serviced at all in 9 years I'm not upset with a $334 bill to...

Older Model S A/C Service Considerations

Looking for a few things. Mostly related to the end goal of getting my A/C serviced, as it's not cold anymore, but I'm always learning about service on my 2013 Model S so I tend to try and dig a little deeper and now have a few questions that I couldn't find answers to so far. I did look a...

I have to replace front upper control arms and sway bar after 64K/4+ years?

Hi, Guicane. I ended up having Bellevue Service Center replace both arms. It’s a bummer that the ball joint is embedded in the arm as the fix could be much less costly but I assume the engineering and manufacturing dictate the need to keep them this way. Possibly my S60 went longer on miles due...

I have to replace front upper control arms and sway bar after 64K/4+ years?

Update: I was finally able to replicate in the garage, tried with wheel off but no go, however did get it with wheel back on. It's the upper control arm for sure. The ball joint seems bone dry. Going to look at options to maybe grease as-is to buy some time before any service.

I have to replace front upper control arms and sway bar after 64K/4+ years?

I know this is a bit of an older post but wanted to check back in anyway to see how the resolution went. We have a 2013 Model S, air suspension, 113K, and I have a very similar issue. I had Renton look at at and they replaced the front suspension aft links (both). Didn't help. I then did the...

Supercharger - Leavenworth, WA (LIVE Jul 2018, 16 V2 stalls)

Ok. Good to know on how the PlugShare transaction behaved. Thanks for the details.
