It’s configurable in the mcu but the guy I asked about it never responded. I’ve seen one case of it being successfully retrofitted but lack the ability to change the vehicle config myself.

You can just ask tesla for part number 1607360-00-G. They had it ready for me in a couple of weeks.

Not my main car, driven mostly by family so I'm not sure. No tidal or anything that takes up extra space that I'm aware of though.

Same here, firmware upgrade issues they say will be solved by an ethernet module. Guess this explains why people were so adamant that refresh had ethernet connection but mine never did haha.

I don't think it's possible. Besides opening up their computer which I'm sure nobody has done. I know our x has an internal disk size of 64 GB which is 20GB lower than the one pictured. We can only extrapolate so much from that limited info.

Steam is just a vm with allocated resources. It's virtual disk is much smaller than the overall 256GB. Same with the ram, steam will report it only has 8GB of ram. I've had people say that they have 128GB nvme with steam support so there may be some unique configurations out there like that.

I don't like the sound of that. Hopefully you see it soon. Be a shame to shell out 2k and them being like "it's a configuration change we can't do" or something.
