Charging Port door closes immediately after opening

FWIW, YMMV....I had this issue a few weeks back, drove me insane. I pulled the emergency release from inside in the trunk area and it seemed to reset the solenoid/sensor or something and it stopped the auto closing. Note: I did it about 4 to 5 times. The first time it didn't work.

    Homelink retrofit install failure

Thanks for confirming the version you're on. This add more credence to the theory something changed (deliberately) or broke in the 2024 code. I ordered my from an ebay seller that had alot of stock and it came new with the bracket/screw as well all sealed in new bags with Tesla parts labels...

Burning 25ft 10/3 cords using my mobile connector in the rain with a 120v outside GFCI outlet

You’re probably right, I just had the title in mind when I wrote my reply. The arcing still shouldn’t be happening without the GCFI tripping as you already noted. I was really responding after seeing comments about never using extension cords. When used correctly and the wiring is correct...

Burning 25ft 10/3 cords using my mobile connector in the rain with a 120v outside GFCI outlet

The GFCI sounds like it's faulty to ewodrick's comment above. Replace the outlet and make sure the housing is properly installed and has all of the gaskets in place. This shouldn't happen, the outlet should have tripped before it burnt the cord. Extension cords are used all of the time on...

    Wireless charging question

I have a 15 Pro Max as well, it charges without the case just fine. I now have a Spigen Magsafe case on it and it also charges without an issue. As someone else noted, anything on the bottom like a chapstick or coins, etc will keep the phone too far up for good inductive charging alignment.

    Homelink retrofit install failure

Need to clarify, I was actually on 2024.2.2.1 (Not 2023.44) on Feb 10th when I attempted the install. PMART: Curious to see if your 2023.44.300 allows the retrofit. I feel your anxiety in getting another ebay module. I lucked out with a helpful mobile ranger but it seems based on the posts...

    Homelink retrofit install failure

Interesting. My Dec 23 MYP had 2023.44 installed the day before I tried to upgrade and I got the Auth Failure. For what it’s with, the Mobile Service tech who got it working did a full reset of the car, but I don’t know which procedure actually got the successfully online. The interesting...

    Homelink retrofit install failure

So why are you trolling a thread about self installation of Homelink? I had the same issue and lucked out when the mobile ranger got mine to work after an hour of trying all types of things. He confirmed they have a huge uptick in similar issues in the last two weeks but there is not internal...

    Homelink retrofit install failure

I have a 2023 MYP (Built late Dec 23) with the exact error message. Followed the install directions to the t. Running 2024.2.2.1 It’s a bummer!
