    New 2020.12 Visualizations

Thats right, but that patent is so broad that its seriously infringing on being monopolistic. Also you know Mobileye is keeping a very close look at Tesla because of their past partnership but also because Mobileye is striving to be the first to market with a viable vision-based FSD system. For...

    New 2020.12 Visualizations

His car is big because the there are no cars detected to the left and right of him, which is what Tesla uses to determine whether it should zoom out. Since he seems to be on a single lane road it will stay big. Once he gets to the 2+ lane road and another car is detected in the additional...

2020.8.1 Another useless update for most of us

I hear your frustration and have in fact just made a video explaining what Tesla has been up to and why no "Major" software updates in 2020 so far specifically for FSD. Not gonna post it here but click the link in my sig if interested. That said, its important to know that Dashcam and Sentry...

Full Self Driving, Model 3, 2020 only.

lol its really simple, Ford had copyrights on Co-Pilot so Elon went with Autopilot. Probably not the best alternate but thats what he went with

Full Self Driving, Model 3, 2020 only.

@DanCar are you a mod here? The topic as the title states is whether people have regrets about purchasing the FSD package, to which I have already replied. The comment that you summarized poorly is in response to the comment/assertion that there are functioning Full Self-Driving features in...

Full Self Driving, Model 3, 2020 only.

I disagree that table is a list of Tesla features as they correspond to the packages they sell (Autopilot, Enhanced Autopilot, "FSD"). I still stand by my statement there are no production FSD features out on general release. The term "self-driving" by definition means little to no human...

    Tesla Referral Program

I can confirm the value of the founders series PW2 by Tesla accounting is $5,500USD. So that is likely what the value will be if/when 1099's come up.

Full Self Driving, Model 3, 2020 only.

Not sure what your use case is but have driven several model 3's and had no issue with autopark. Are you going below 18mph and driving past the spot completely (halfway to the next car in front) so that the sensors scan the spot? If so then let service know, if not give it a try and you will...

    Got it, still interesting nonetheless.

Is Your MCU1 Model X Still on 2019.40.2.1?

Yes it looks like they halted rollout of updates while they fix bugs of the latest builds and try and deal with the MCU1 issues quietly. Hopefully they get it sorted soon and get back on track.

Full Self Driving, Model 3, 2020 only.

What is a "2020 Model 3"? Whether anyone has regrets is totally subjective but, keep in mind there are currently no active FSD features in public release yet. Lots of Autopilot features but FSD features have not been deployed so I'd recommend reserving judgement or remorse until they are out...

    Tesla Update 2019.40.50.7

I find that if you engage AP when your car is not relatively centered in the lane it throws AP off and causes ping-ponging. If you disengage and center your car then reengage it stops. Give that a try and see if it helps.

    New 85kWH battery for my 2013 P85+

Good to see that they've updated something for those with the 85kwh packs! Good question by @ucmndd if they are actually using a paired down 100kwh pack and just putting a label on it as 85kwh. A new pack will always ready higher than normal rated range until it calibrates from depletion and...
