Picked up MYLR and It had AMD and new battery. Its pretty snappy. SA said all of the cars they were delivering had the AMD chips in Renton,WA. Edit: just to clarify SA was referring to the MY deliveries they were making recently. Saw at least 10+ cars being prepped for delivery.

So I’ve gone through 31 pages of this thread and didn’t really see the answer. What is the benefit of the AMD chip other than a faster loading screen? At this time there doesn’t really seem to be anything that special other than that unless I’m missing something?

I'm wondering if Tesla is just kicking out the lower priced plain jane older orders now to get to the more slightly more expensive MYLR plain janes that they are backlogged on. Seems January might be the month for us August orders to get our cars...still only halfway through so plenty of time left.

HI folks...longtime thread lurker and fellow august order. OD 8/12 VIN 1/14 and scheduled delivery next wednesday. MSM MYLR no add ons..hopefully those of you waiting get the call soon. The wait has been long but this is my 4th Tesla and its worth it every time.

I love that Tesla launched a new referral program...maybe I will finally get that referral bonus that I earned in October 2018?

That’s nice, I had a referral last October, selected a Wall charger and still have nothing. The referral program has no timetable of when I could actually get one, disappointing from this referral system.

I too got had some one use my referral code and they took delivery about two weeks ago. I’m still waiting to chose the referral item but it is showing delivered in my account. I figured it would take a while before I get to select the bonus.
