    Charging frequency and battery life

Thank you all for your replies. Glad to know it is not a big deal. So far, we are enjoying our first road trip with the Tesla!

    Charging frequency and battery life

Can I ask a question? We are new owners as of July. My husband charged the battery to 100 % last night for our first road trip, and at 3 am it was charged. The problem is that I have to go to work this morning, and we cannot leave until at least 11. Is this really bad for the battery, should...

Great timing - AC craps out during 95 degree heatwave in Seattle

My Tesla is pretty new. The AC did not work when we first got it and of course, it was hot that day. It did turn out to be the O-ring. They replaced it and it has been working since. I hope your problem is easy to fix!

Model X 2nd row now folds FLAT! (July 1st 2017 update)

So far ok, but we have not really been challenged yet because we still have 2 kids in rear facing convertibles and the third row is folded down. Come January, we will be putting 3 in a row with the convertibles forward facing, and an infant car seat rear facing. I am having more challenges...

Model X 2nd row now folds FLAT! (July 1st 2017 update)

@boaterva The second row DOES NOT fit. Waiting for new ones. The rest fit.

Model X: Third Row Rear-Facing Car Seats

Are you looking for an infant or a convertible? We tested the Cybex with 2 convertibles when we were looking to buy our model X. It had a very narrow profile. There is a local baby store near me that will let you borrow car seats to test in cars (they made us give them their credit card...

Model X 2nd row now folds FLAT! (July 1st 2017 update)

Hi, I am the person who got the surprise new model. We actually wanted the old model because we have car seats (although now we are more ok this set up). We were told that there were no more seats of the old model available for a custom build and if we wanted it, we would have to buy an...

Model X 2nd row now folds FLAT! (July 1st 2017 update)

So, I hope these are not too dark, and I am not sure what angle you all are looking for, but I currently take public transportation to work so I don't even get to drive my new car during the day :-(. Here are my best pictures, had to use a flash. Glad I can help, as I said this forum was...

Model X 2nd row now folds FLAT! (July 1st 2017 update)

Manageable for short trips, but not great (unless you are a child). You can move the second-row seats up and back a little to make leg room for the 3rd row. Because we have large rear facing car seats, our second-row seats are pushed so far back, that there is NO leg room in the 3rd row. That...

Model X 2nd row now folds FLAT! (July 1st 2017 update)

So I hear I am the first one to get one in my region, I am sure someone in California has the very first one! How do you post a video? Same way you post a picture? We have one, my husband will look at it to see if will answer your questions. If not, we will try to take one tomorrow. We are...

Model X 2nd row now folds FLAT! (July 1st 2017 update)

Well, it was a hard decision, but we decided to keep the car. If we only had 2 kids we would have gone for the 6 seat configuration for sure. For what we need, we think this will work best. For those of you in the car seat market, I thought I would post one last update of what we figured out...

Model X 2nd row now folds FLAT! (July 1st 2017 update)

I would say it has a decent range. That is not the issue compared to the 3rd row space, which I think is the primary drawback with these new seats.

Model X 2nd row now folds FLAT! (July 1st 2017 update)

That sounds about right. Sorry, I am having trouble explaining it. So it is tricky, and I had only done it once when I tried. So what happens is that you push the top button, it makes a click, and then you can push it forward manually.

Model X 2nd row now folds FLAT! (July 1st 2017 update)

The leg room in the 3rd row is not great. A small adult could sit there, but probably not for long rides. The second row does adjust back and forth so you can decide if you want more legroom in the second row, or if you need to make room for both. I think this car will work while my kids are...

Model X 2nd row now folds FLAT! (July 1st 2017 update)

Lastly, here is a picture of the seats with the back and middle seat folded down so you can still seat 5 and place a long object in the car.
