Install used OEM Hitch, Will Tesla tech enable tow mode?
No, they will not. I already tried. They will ask for a hefty $2600 Canadian Dollars to activate that. I am from Vancouver,BC, Canada BTW. More expensive than just directly buying the post-install package from them. I think they purposely quoted that price to pissy me off.- bobosky520

2021 Model Y EOM Hitch DIY Install
I just got back from the service center, the SC wants $2600 CAD to replace the LH body control. I laughed at them when they quoted me on the price, the complete tow package will cost less.- bobosky520

Do you need to reinstall the reinforced bumper bar for an OEM Model Y tow hitch?
I purchase a own harness and hitch bar off an eBay seller. The harness does not have any signel. I guess it require some kind of activation.- bobosky520
