    Canada Waiting Room

These are probably mostly speculation cars and since the market is turning, and they're no longer selling above MSRP, flippers are no longer taking delivery. I bet you MYLR will start showing in stock soon as well.

The number of used Tesla 3/Y available is staggering

In Canada at least, most "newish" used cars or new cars in stock are now at MSRP, but interest rates on car loans here are not like in the US, especially your credit union rates. Not much under 6-7%. And a lot of manufacturers raised MSRPs for 2022 and 2023. I was looking at BMW X5s for example...

Regrets [Anyone regret trading in their ICE for their Tesla?]

I actually went from 95% to 22% in 131 miles (it was 90F, sunny outside) with cruise control at 78mph on a somewhat flat highway, with one stop near the end of that leg of the trip for a 1h picnic. Car was parked in the sun and cabin overheat protection came on while we were eating outside, but...

Regrets [Anyone regret trading in their ICE for their Tesla?]

I'm back in an ICE (or will be in December when my LR Defender arrives). I traded in my MYP last month seeing prices drop significantly in my neck of the woods. Highway range, for me, was worst than I even expected. I anticipated I'd only get around 200 miles of realistic highway range in the...

The number of used Tesla 3/Y available is staggering

Prices are indeed falling and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future (IMO): - Gas prices dropping back towards "normal" - Rising borrowing costs (interest rates) - Uncertainty in the stock market and economy overall (people generally aren't as keen to drop $$$ on cars when their...

100 AMP electrical service in home, should I install Wall Connector Gen3?

This. I have 100A service and went the safe route and got a 30A circuit installed (which charges at 24A). I still get 7-8% per hour of charge so unless you drive 200+ miles per day, charging overnight with a 30A circuit will be plenty. Given that your stove and heat use Gas, 30A should be no...

Michelin Pilot Sport 4S vs AS4

AS4 must have better wet traction and wear slower, no? I love the PSAS4 on my MYP. They're actually great in the snow too, for a performance all season.

Car seats and car seat protection...what do you use?

We have Diono Radian 3RXT which fit 3 across no problem (even 2 dionos outboard and a Clek infant seat with base in the middle). https://store.diono.ca/radian-3rxt/?utm_source=google.com&utm_medium=organic https://clekinc.ca/products/infant-seat/liing/ I also use Diono Ultra Mat seat...

Model Y LR built in Giga Austin!!

I don't think they make the motors in Fremont or at any of the final assembly plants, they're probably built elsewhere and shipped in. But MYLR deliveries are 1 year out vs. a few months for MYP, so it would make sense to focus on MYLR production.

Model Y LR built in Giga Austin!!

I mean at this point it's looking like Austin has at least come online with MYLR production which is good news for the backlog. If this is a troll job, the person behind this has serious mental health issues lol

Model Y LR built in Giga Austin!!

Well either we have a very keen troll here creating a few accounts pretending they're getting MYLR Austin VINs or Austin is really shifting to MYLR production. Would be nice to see some videos of the supposed Austin MYLRs showing the VIN on the car and the vehicle info in one take :)

Standard Range Model Ys showing up in existing inventory

I think Tesla might have priced the Standard Range MY too high. 270-280 miles of rated range (which will realistically be much less than that on the highway, where it matters most) is probably not enough for a lot of people to spend $65k. Especially if you're in a part of the world where there...

Model Y LR built in Giga Austin!!

I hear you there, but some have openly discussed this on this very forum or on reddit, can't remember. But I have seen posts of people mulling over paying more to get less range but get their car right away after being offered a MYAWD from Austin. Either way, as others have pointed out in this...

Model Y LR built in Giga Austin!!

Unless you show that the specific car for which you have an Austin VIN right now is indeed a long range, which is doubtful, we'll probably have to assume you have agreed to take delivery of the MY AWD Standard Range (279 mi) and you're just trolling. Nothing you've shown here indicates that...
