Type 3C to Mennekes Type 2 Cable - Free to Good Home

Hi - do you still have that cable? I'm going to France and would welcome the peace of mind of knowing I had it. Charles Harris

    Accelerator on lunch break

Forgive me if I've missed the point, but I can't offhand think of a situation where not accelerating would be more dangerous than accelerating from stationary. Unless perhaps I was being chased by gangsters or rushing a very ill person to hospital. I drive in some of the heaviest traffic here in...

    Sat. Nav. Suggestions

The M3 satnav has one major flaw and two significant weaknesses. 1. When approaching a slip road, the satnav says "stay on [named road]" when it actually means "leave [named road]"! 2. On a roundabout, it doesn't warn when approaching the correct exit (my Prius did that). 3. It would be useful...

Software update version 36.2.1 user interface changes

Is there a thread for pointing out UI flaws and suggesting improvements? Eg: when it wants you to leave a road on a slip road, the satnav says "stay on [named road]" when it actually means "leave [named road]"!

Does tesla have an official website where users can suggest and vote on feature requests?

Agree - or at least (1) a simple way to toggle by (say) tapping the display and (2) a way to change them in the phone app.

RANGE UI: showing mileage versus battery %

SUGGESTION TO TESLA: It would be good if the UI offered a quick way to toggle percentage and miles, eg a simple tap on the readout. And it would be even better if we could change between the two when using the phone app. (Or have both displayed at the same time). Sometimes I find I want to know...

    DAB radio text and scrolling

Yes, this is definitely a design weakness in the software.

    Regenerative braking vs brake pedal

Totally agree. I just tried creep mode for the first time today and couldn't wait to turn it off. It might make starting off a little smoother, but I didn't like it. Much prefer Hold.

Anyone else found a snail in their M3?

I know Teslas are environmentally friendly, but I didn't expect this. I decided to give my brand new M3 a quick clean this afternoon, lifted the bonnet (trans: hood) and found a snail happily sitting there. Anyone else found they were hosting local wildlife in their car?

    Regenerative braking vs brake pedal

Thanks - I never spotted that line (still new to the M3)

    Regenerative braking vs brake pedal

Thanks - great. I'll check it, next time on my M3 I'm allowed out...

Is it actually possible to see the regen you're getting? Is it displayed anywhere?

    2 year anniversary

I too love my model 3 - just picked it up seven days ago and sadly can't use it as we're in London lockdown - so have just joined this group as a surrogate for actually driving - and find the threads fascinating! However, without wanting to be a party-pooper, we can't actually say we don't...
