I finally got the black washer out of the pin. It took a while but i was able to wiggle it out. That was definitely the culprit and now I’m able to plug it in and charge with no issue. thanks again everyone!!

guess i can take out that black washer? the mobile connector that i have doesnt seem to have it neither.

i would think so. i usually make sure its plugged in all the way. ill have to test again later. is there something i should look out for?

I bought a used gen 2 wall charger with 14-50 nema plug but every time i tried to use it, the app keeps prompting me to secure the cable and the charging port shows flashing orange. I reseated it and plugged it in several times but same issue. I even unplugged the wall charger and tried it again...

i bought the same from evwrap but i messed up too many times. i used about 4 of them in one hubcap and i spent almost 4 hours trying to make it perfect, but i guess i dont have the skills to apply the wrap lol. i still have the rest of the wrap if anyone wants to buy it.
