    Travel cooler/fridge

I just got my MX version of the ACOpower Tesla Fridge, and I LOVE it. I honestly didn't think it would fit, but it does. Not perfect, but it is exactly as promised except the hand-in-glove fit of the Model Y version. It's a little crooked/tilted down in front, sticks up 1/4" in back, but I LOVE...

    Travel cooler/fridge

Agreed, 12V compressor fridges are an amazing solution, especially with all the power banks available now. Plug fridge into power bank, power bank into car, you have an auto-recharging setup. Of course keeping it at 100% SOC all the time damages the power bank. If only battery banks had charge...

If only the Model X had a 110 outlet (like Ford & Rivian).......

Tesla's 150W 12V outlets definitely won't power an RV! LOL But it sounds like even the Rivian + an EcoFlow weren't enough, either. Your 2400 Wh EcoFlow + portable solar panels could power your RV for days, add a 24V LiFePO4 battery to charge the EcoFlow would give you even more power. I would...

    Travel cooler/fridge

Nice! Still, a compressor-based fridge lets you store more stuff. I've lived in swamp cooler country (El Paso, Apple Valley), and it's effective and energy efficient, but hopefully we can go solar + heat pumps and save our water. A lot of these places are running out of water as it is! I'm...

    Travel cooler/fridge

Precious power? What about our precious water?!? :P Actually the efficient portable fridges use about 400-500Wh per 24 hrs, eating about 2 miles of range. And get a portable power station, and some fridges have power packs also.

If only the Model X had a 110 outlet (like Ford & Rivian).......

I'm curious, what do you use it for? I've never felt the need for 120V in our MX since 2018. I've just bought USB fans and a 12V tea kettle and an espresso machine (Handpresso Auto), both of which I used once and never again. (We're gonna put the 12V tea kettle back in the MX, as two of our...

    Tint Pricing Southern California

Monumental Workx in San Diego is the best shop I've been to. Minority and veteran-owned business, too. Matter of fact, going to make another appointment for my new MS Plaid. For my wife's MX last year I tried Stratos, wasn't worth the $400 savings over Spectra PhotoSync. It's not as clear as...

Bad experience with FSD Subscription refund

Any update on this situation? Did you dispute the charge? I hadn't thought of this scenario. Tesla should automatically suspend all subscriptions EVERY time it's in the shop.

    Tax Credit Loophole

Has anyone heard from Tesla about whether they will pass the savings on to us if we lease a Model S or Model X?

    SoCal power frunk upgrades

It's great that your car meets your needs the way it is. But that doesn't mean a power frunk upgrade is not helpful to others. For my Model X Plaid, if we want to use all 6 seats, it leaves very little cargo space, hence a usable frunk would be great.

    SoCal power frunk upgrades

I wonder if there are enough TMCers that we can get the group discount? I'm all in, and I may have 2-3 more family/friends interested, but no solid commitments yet other than me.

    19" Wheels for 2022 Model X refresh?

What kind of numbers (how many per month) are we talking? Have you seen a pattern of what cars and what size wheels are getting bent? Is it possible that a combination of very low profile tires, a whole lot of rotational inertia, and an extra 1000 lbs of weight compared to similar sedans could...

    SoCal power frunk upgrades

Let's get another group install going for SoCal, I'm in San Diego. I'm definitely not interested in DIY'ing this. :)

    19" Wheels for 2022 Model X refresh?

Seems like a broad generalization from one data point, and inconsistent with my experience. 1) I've never had bent or broken wheels, and 2) I've been in two major accidents in two 2018 MX's where the MX's were totaled, and wife and I walked away with just bruises and airbag burns. Their...

    19" Wheels for 2022 Model X refresh?

Watch this: The short version is: 1. the lighter the wheel, the less rotational inertia, so less energy to accelerate -> better city range 2. aero covers should reduce turbulent air flow -> better highway range Any engineers that can answer this? It seems to me that beyond just a lighter...
