New FSD beta testers (June 2022) - First experiences

No. That button only attaches a snapshot of the system which report bug is doing anyway. It's not providing any context. > “You should be able to press mic button & say “bug report,” Elon Musk tweeted on Sunday, in response to users reporting issues with the FSD – Full Self Driving (Auto Pilot).

New FSD beta testers (June 2022) - First experiences

Summarizing my experiences as I've been using FSD heavily since getting it a week ago. Summary: 1. Do not enabled FSD unless you're going to be acting like a QA beta tester. It's not nearly good enough to just cruise around in. Turn it on when you're going to be focused and report issues to...

    Unknown key and walk away

I worked with Tesla service all day. They think it's a firmware issue but also can't troubleshoot anymore remotely so now I have to bring it in..

    Unknown key and walk away

Same issue here after latest update on my new S. After the update all my keys turned to "unknown" and neither my phone or key fobs are labeled making it so that I cannot enable walk away lock

Glad it wasn't just me! Did it mess up your phone key too? It marked all my keys as "unknown" which makes it so now it doesn't auto lock when I walk away. Repairing the phone doesn't work at all either. I saw some posts on Reddit complaining about the issue

Good call. I now vaguely remember those coming up as well. I just checked and the plastic looks fine, however when I pushed down on the plastic it was clear that the latching hook was off center... At this point I've spammed probably a dozen issues to Tesla service. They'll have a nice set of...

2021+ Model S LR Delivery Tracking

I did! I picked up my car today! My first impressions: Pickup: Picked mine up in Colma. The people were very friendly and helpful which I appreciated They did a pretty terrible job of washing the car but that was to be expected. Honestly I wish they didn't do a wash but I'm sure it had...

Any of you in California gotten good insurance rates for your S? My current one feels insane to me compared to my Perf Model 3 and my old Model S and that's even with a multi-car discount and only 8k miles

2021+ Model S LR Delivery Tracking

Well, still no update for me... but my Dad just got his VIN a few moments ago! His date was 9/25-9/30 but a few days ago it moved all the way out to mid October-early November range. Today it moved back again with a VIN and EDD of 9/28-9/30 His config: MS LR White/Cream, 19", no FSD located in...

2021+ Model S LR Delivery Tracking

Is your range 9/27-9/30 with or without a VIN? The main reason I'm skeptical with these days is that prior to these end of Sep dates, when the range was within 7 days it looked to be a guarantee of a VIN within a few hours. That does not appear to be the case with the end of Sep dates, making it...

2021+ Model S LR Delivery Tracking

Has anyone seen VINs posted in source code before it actually gets displayed to you on the site? I know there is a tool/addon that tells you and it's easy enough to search source yourself, but do they actually show up in source code first? Curious so that I can stop checking the source code...
