I had my S for 3.5 years. never service planed it. Never had an issue aside from a whining sound in the motor. They replaced it. You have 8 years unlimited miles on the motor and battery. I had 77K miles when I turned it in for my X.

since these are docked iPads, the kids can dock them or pull them off at will. The best part is that it charges the iPads while docked. It's the only way I can get them to charge anything!

the iPads have a sleeve/case on them. the dock magnetically and can be pulled off or docked easily. they can also turn vertically or horizontally with ease.

Yes, I had to cut an opening for the mounts' electronics. I also had to use bolts to keep them in place. I did contact Tesla prior to my experiment and found out that the seat backs are only $130 to replace if I wanted to remove the system down the road.

I know! I was going to Xpel the covers. they wanted $200 each until I found out how much replacement ones would be. So far, I've nailed the measurements and haven't had to replace them. I'm more worried about what my children can do to them.
