Hi everyone. Can Tesla install the CCS retrofit or is this something you have to DIY? There’s a lot of posts here - so I’m just trying to figure out what is required and if I could do it… Is it simply swapping out the ECU? The car will update itself ? I saw the OP had tons of errors...

What’s the advantage of getting real carbon fiber over ABS plastic with carbon fiber? Same look for much less ;)

This is what I’m told from Tesla in Atlanta... “If you're requesting to replace both cabin filters and cleaning the evaporator it will cost about $183.00+tax. This repair is also mobile capable if that is a option you would like. Please let us know” They won’t do it for free. I said why...

I just noticed my brakes make a squeal when in reverse. Just started happening. Vin is 33XXX. So does mine qualify for the fix?

I’ve been trying to figure this out myself. I’m originally from Toronto and wanted to know what experiences Torontonians had with RWD Tesla’s. I’d personally prefer AWD but who knows when that’ll actually come out and by the time it does the tax credits will probably be gone...

I was wondering if that would be possible - to buy a CDN-specced Tesla in the US? Like what is the difference if I'm going to be ordering one anyways? I don't know how that works... So instead of being delivered a US-specced Tesla, I get the CDN-specced Tesla...

The seatbelt buttons are red/orange in the Model 3. I rented one from Turo this weekend and can confirm that. It also has DRLs but I think you can actually turn that off in the software :(

How responsive is Tesla HQ? I’m going to try and research this topic for the Model 3 since this situation will definitely be a factor if I keep being a reservation holder.

When you say it’s not on “either list” what list are you referring to ? I’d love to be able to know if I could import a US-spec model 3 to Canada at some point so I can make a good purchase decision.

I’m renting the Model 3 tomorrow on Turo so I’ll see how Canadian I can make it regarding units, speed, etc. lol :)
