So much for my scheduled May 15 pickup day. The car supposedly isn't going to be there in time. (They say I can pick it up on the 19th now, but I can't do that, so.... who knows.) I don't know why I still allowed myself to have hope, but I did, and now I'm let down again. Argh!

I have heard that when you get a new Tesla, it takes quite a while before you start receiving software updates (i.e., you're "stuck" on an old version for a month or so). Is that still true, and does it also apply to updates that are classified as recalls? Supposedly picking up my MY this...

Just got the message to schedule my delivery—delivery is scheduled for May 15. Really hope it holds. (Latest EDD was May 23-27 after slipping a few times, and then boom, delivery message. Makes no sense to me, and doesn't give me a ton of confidence in the delivery date... but I'm still hopeful.)

Got bumped a bit... went from May 11-13 to May 13-16 and now May 17-21. Still have the VIN. My wife read (maybe in a Facebook group?) that some people were being told their orders were delayed due to a missing part on some Model Y builds. The charging port, I believe. So they have to get those...

My EDD just moved to a three-day window (May 11-13) and my VIN was assigned. Details in signature. Hyped! Now, just hoping they don't pull the rug out from under me. My heart can't take it!

My EDD held at May-June (May 7 - June 4) for quite a while, but just moved to April-May (April 22-May 20) this morning. I know it's meaningless, but it's something to do while we wait, right?!

November 2021 order date; current EDD changed a few days ago from July 2022 to "May 7 - June 4." A mix of good/bad news... good in that I want it sooner, bad in that it lessens my chances of getting an Austin-built MY.

The Venn diagram on this page is very helpful, in my opinion, in helping compare the two. Some will opt to have both PPF and ceramic coating done because they serve different purposes.

How can you tell? Mine looks the same (iOS, app version 4.3.0).

That's my combo, so I'm just going to pretend I didn't see this and imagine my MYLR will be in my garage sooner rather than later. (Current estimate is June. Honestly, that's fine, just... you know, sooner is better!)

That's interesting, and the first I've seen anyone mention that as a reason. It does make sense, though. And your model still has radar, so that is even more interesting to me. And, like you said, it seems like a vision issue, and obviously having radar isn't helping here. I wonder what the FSD...
