    At least the active partition must match. I have the 2020.36.3.1, that you can download from me. You should check the firmware of the other partition, or it might not be able to boot properly.

    Not anymore, the recovery can be done in room temperature in about an hour. The above is from when Luke sent the emmc to the Polish recovery company.

    Yes, the problem remains, the extensive logging is only a small part of the problem.Check another of my posts here. Also, the crazy logging is only reduced a little on the latest firmware releases.

    When I say a production new Tegra board, it is a board from old stock, the above mentioned board did have a PCB date code from 2013.

    The part #: 2728211-S0-A is simply a production new Tegra board, BUT with the Hynix eMMC that will fail again after a few years.... I have seen a picture of one of these cards after a Tesla repair that was done last week. The Tesla invoice was roughly $500 for the board + labor, a total of $735...

    The MCU2 comes with a Micron 64GB MLC eMMC. I have only seen one so far, but I doubt they will change the eMMC.

    I have investigated this error under (scanning electron)microscope and probing. The problem is related to an OTP register inside the controller of the chip. The register fault varies a lot from chip to chip, but is definitively defective due to a silicon design flaw, it seems to be all "GMRA"...
