Before writing that article, I spent all available cash ($3500) on short-dated OTM call options over a 7 month period. I had conservatively modeled a 10X expected return on method - ascribing just a 10% probability of a historic short squeeze occurring. Actual outcome of strategy continued would have been somewhere between 30 & 100X total investment, depending on my timing of the last batch of calls.
