I’m close to replacing my 255/20/40 Michelin Pilot Sport tyres and I’m considering the Hankooks too. Does the wheel stick out more than the tyre with the IONs?
I didn’t get a penny, despite signing up at the start. To rub salt in the wound the flex operating hours seem to have changed overnight which meant the car stopped charging at 11pm last night and I now don’t have enough charge for my work today.
No, I didn’t manage to solve it. I managed to sort some of the rattles from the hatch but the clunking/squelching noise from the rear corners/suspension when going over larger bumps is still there. I’ve learned to live with it but if you manage to make some progress over the weekend I’d be...
I read somewhere on here that some people in the US have been removing the rubber strip completely. I haven’t yet resorted to that in case there’s no way of refitting it if it causes further unintended problems.
I’ve also applied some of the fabric tape to the edge of the boot opening, and I’m sure that helps, but a small quarter turn adjustment on one of the upper bump stops made a big difference with mine.

They claim to be the highest level of complaint that you can make, in the UK at least. Depends what issues you have but they were pretty unhelpful in my experience.
Yep, there’s a thread here where a guy uses mayonnaise to confirm that the feet/bump stops are making contact with the body of the car. Soapy water will do if you don’t want to use mayonnaise!

You need to wind the feet/bump stops out so that they make a firm contact with the body of the car, but not so much that the boot doesn’t shut properly. Trial and error I’m afraid. Then apply a coating of gummi pflege around the rubber boot seal and also the door seals and allow to dry. That...
Yes, do keep us posted please. The lane departure message only seems to occur on my MY when the sun is low and ‘blinds’ one of the side cameras. Having said that, I haven’t seen the message recently and I remain on .5 having refused the recent updates.
1. Clean the rubber seals and the inside of the window then apply some gummi pflege to the rubber seals and allow to dry before closing the door - it silenced my window rattles;
2. Same again with the gummi pflege around the hatch seal but also adjust the bump stops as others have suggested;
3...
Connection issue seems to have resolved itself, for me at least. I haven’t updated the car’s software recently which suggests that the problem was with the network and not the car.
Mine has been in and out of service a few times and it usually comes back with a different problem than it went in for so I'm reluctant to raise another service request. Apart from the lane departure message the car is behaving so well that I'm tempted to take it off the home wifi and reject...
