Phantom braking so bad I want to return my car
Totally agree it’s like that, and agree about the oncoming headlight thing, I should have said that earlier. The additional hand holding is a annoying considering that the cruise and autosteer features are marketed to make driving the car more relaxing and stress free. It’s nuts there are...- DannyW

A compliment for autosteer
I have a MYP and a 2019 Subaru Ascent with the Eyesight system. Eyesight is pretty good but it’s nowhere even close to Tesla IMO. The Ascent‘s lane holding feature would drive right off the road in situations where Autosteer has zero issue.- DannyW

I just got mine and it’s still at 2021.3.106 (Canadian MY performance) and I observe very similar issues. I‘ve definitely seen it put on the brakes for no obvious reason. It seems to have more trouble with oncoming motorcycles, oncoming trucks with no headlights, encountering oncoming vehicles...- DannyW

Cruise control even twitchier after last week's update
