Car door dented, caught on Sentry - help!

This looks great, thanks for the tip - wondering about the part you have to fully disclose the car has been in an incident and give all those details the DVLA... any chance of that coming back to bite me in the proverbial anytime in the future?

Looks to be the same as these no? Check out this BMW 1 Series that I have just found on #motorscouk

hmmm - that is actually a really good point. this is the spec on DVLA

Car door dented, caught on Sentry - help!

the dent is about the size of a two pound coin, with two little scratches inside where the paint has been taken off. It’s certainly not the end of the world, and I would guess I could get it repaired for roughly £200-£400 with one of the mobile repairers. I imagine an insurer would say more like...

Car door dented, caught on Sentry - help!

forgive me for the noob question - if I report it to my insurer, will I lose my no claims? No claims previously, but I imagine that’s obvious with the no claims and all

Car door dented, caught on Sentry - help!

Finally, I’ve got it! The video I’ve got is a little clearer than the upload above, and I’ve tried a lot of variations, but very confident with this: GN65 ENW This is a white BMW M1 according to the DVLA, which is what’s in the video. Now, what to do next?! I’d really like to track them down...

Car door dented, caught on Sentry - help!

Hi all, After cleaning the car today for the first time in months due to the lockdown I’ve noticed a nasty dent/scrape on the passenger door where someone’s opened their door onto mine, painful! Gratefully sentry recorded the incident, but due to the rain it’s really hard to make out her...

    Chipex for scratches!

Sadly I wouldn’t recommend them if you have a black model 3 - the colour doesn’t quite match, it dries ever so slightly lighter :(

    Collection day sanitising

this has been proven to be fake news - we need to be really careful about what we believe! Think about it - the human body temperature is roughly 36.2-37.2 degrees when healthy, and it thrives in that environment. So much fake news going around that people are swallowing up as fact it’s scary

Best type 2 extension cable for Model 3?

thanks for the answer! I should have said - I have an untethered box, so at the moment I have a 10m cable; which was pretty expensive in itself! Hence why I’m trying to work out the most cost effective way of extending. That extension you posted looks great, but unfortunately it’s a little too...

Best type 2 extension cable for Model 3?

Hi all - hope you’re good! I’ve just put a new driveway in so we can get the baby in and out the car (long story!) and my 10m cable doesn’t reach the car anymore. What is the best solution for me to get another 10m in cable length (I need 17.5-20m in total) so I can charge my car? Extension or...

UK accessories for RHD Model 3 [megathread]

I bought this one, although it’s not technically a matte finish I can’t tell it’s on there at all and it was super easy to install. I’m really happy with it. lesgos Screen Protector for Tesla Model 3, 15" 9H HD Anti-Scratch and Shock Resistant Center Control Touch Screen Car Navigation...

If I get a flat tire in UK what’s my options?

I’ve read this a few times, but also conflicting opinions. I’m no expert, I’ve never used this kit and I don’t actually know if it will work or not, but I’d give it a go on my 20” M3P tyre if it was flat and I was likely to be waiting hours for some reason, unable to get help. My (limited)...

If I get a flat tire in UK what’s my options?

this is true - but I've read cases where they can sometimes they take over 24 hours to get to you, meaning you may need to have to abandon the car for a day or so. Each to their own, but I’d rather have the tyre kit above in the boot also, incase that happens to me!
