I became acquainted with Tesla in 2019. Yes a late bloomer. I always loved the car but my finances didn't. I decided to buy Tesla stock. I was waiting on work to be done at my house and my contractor was backed up. So I took the insurance money (a contractor working for the township damaged my house) and bought a lot of Tesla stock! A little voice said the stock was going to explode. (and it did.)

So with the money I (won) bought a model Y long range. I trade stocks and weather permitting I garden. I have 5 acres which take up a lot of my time.
