Model 3 Highland Performance/Plaid Speculation [Car announced 04.23.2024]

Not impressed so far.. my last m3p with Panasonic had more power in the pack at least. It states two new drive units in the Norwegian text

Model 3 Highland Performance/Plaid Speculation [Car announced 04.23.2024]

The previous M3P have been dynoed to 500++ wheel horsepower. This is Teslas way to say, sorry no more power, but better top end pull. This is also the second time in a row they put in a battery that is less performing than the previous generatipn. Sorry, I might go for I5N in about a year or so...

I promise you, the 911 turbo S will pass into the sunset before the 1/4 mile marker.. the 911ts is a beast and outlauches the m3l and just keeps on pulling.

Does this even matter? I mean since especially we in Europe will get the LG pack with discharge power limitation?

But the Ionic 5N do not overheat like the current m3p and probably the m3l will do.. i managed 4-5 laps on my track before the battery went yellow and power loss. So well under 10 minutes and the heat fest starts... thats the thing with 800v, half the amps and a much better charge curve.

I would guess 82kWh Panasonic pack (the highest power discharge) and probably rear motor, same as the MY P with a little more kW than the predecessor and later models. On my previous M3P I saw discharge power at 457kW with the Panasonic 82 battery.

Model 3 Highland Performance/Plaid Speculation [Car announced 04.23.2024]

Yes, my dissapointment is huge, since my first 2020 M3P I`ve felt the car is getting gradually slower and batteries are getting weaker for each model year. My current 2022 M3P with LG is not good compared to my previous 2021 with 82Pana pack. now they launch a car with 100hp less than a Hyundai...

X2, the downside of living in Europe 🤣

The M3P desimated the at the time beeing current BMW M3, the new M3P will probably even loose a drag race against the current 2 year old BMW M3. The Tesla aint got much other things going for it, I mean, handling, drive-feel, interior so the straight line performance should be a

Model 3 Highland Performance/Plaid Speculation [Car announced 04.23.2024]

I'm feeling a little dissapointed already before the specs is revealed if the leaks and rumors are true.. knowing a 2022 (panasonic battery) equipped 3P lays down well above 500 hp to the wheels then a completely new version with 620ish claimed hp will not be enough to replace my car. Sure the...

If this is true I hope someone from Tesla reads this: push the red button, stop the M3P, it will never sell. My next performance car will in that case be a Hyundai. Something I never dream I'd say only 3 years ago! The new 3P needs to be a home run if not, just dont do it.

Everyone that thinks CYBRTRK420 is actually someone that knows how this car looks AND performs hit that like button! I`m pretty sure we will see this turn out to be like the rear end rendering 420 came up with that looked spot on! Lets hope at least, this looks great.

Keep in mind their dragraces are ALWAYS on unprepped concrete surface for the UK comparisons. That M3 Competition would also be faster on prepped surface like the slips you show a buch of. They did a 9,6 or 9,7 on concrete with the S Plaid.

Model 3 Highland Performance/Plaid Speculation [Car announced 04.23.2024]

I for sure hope that is not the case for us Europe customers. The Freemont cars are worse in all aspects than the China/Germany cars. Why Tesla is reluctant to hire quality controllers is a question that baffles me...
