    Phone left in car chime

This is going to be the stupidest thing ever posted, but I tied a string around the door handle. It is just something I see when I reach for the door unlock button and it reminds me, "phone." Sometimes, it even works.

    Turn signal operation.

For me, it depends on how far the arrow is from where I change lanes. I'm guessing that is what I am seeing and bet that performance is regional, depending upon the details of the painting or even hilliness. For this reason, I don't consider it an error when it doesn't pick up the lane info. I'd...

    Inland Platinum SSD

Even for a 2021? I thought there was a time period when it worked in the center console. I'd unplug and just try, but since the stupid thing is working at the moment, I want to just let it be. :-)

    "Potential Collision Detected..."

I've had this happen a couple times. Sometimes, it is as you described and I don't sense the car do anything. Once or twice, I thought I could feel it make a correction. I believe there are settings under safety to let you tune this if you don't want it, but I suspect it is a good thing, even if...

    Turn signal operation.

The left turn lane behavior sort of makes sense to me. The car is just thinking of this as a lane change...it doesn't know it is a left turn lane. The lane change is done, so the blinker is turned off. Then, I have to put it on again to do the second turn, which is the actual left turn. There's...

    Alerts self-dismissing

One thing that strikes me is that the behavior goes away, which I wouldn't expect if it were coming from the protector. I can think of loopholes for all of that, but it's the way I'd bet.

    Alerts self-dismissing

Ah. There is a screen Spigen tempered glass screen protector on there. I wonder if I can temporarily remove that and put it back on (without it becoming covered in gunk. I don't think I saved the packing. It isn't inconceivable, but it does seem odd that it is only this one button location that...

    Inland Platinum SSD

Although the drive seemed to format fine in the car, I brought it in, formatted it on my Mac as exFAT, made the TeslaCam directory, and I've now been able to use it for a day without problems. Fingers crossed. The old filesystem seemed to be there and I could see a couple of videos thta I...

    Alerts self-dismissing

Nope, parked. It makes sense for it to go away after a little while, but at times it goes away immediately, as in I'm still lifting my finger from pressing the icon. Or, it might last a second or two. This morning, it did this three times, i.e., I had to hit the bell icon three times, before it...

    Alerts self-dismissing

If I touch the bell near the top right of the screen, it brings up a list of recent alerts. In recent weeks, I find that the pop-up list close without me closing it. Sometimes, it closes within a second and I cannot read the list of alerts. Other times, it will stay open a few to maybe 5 seconds...

    Turn signal operation.

On my 2021 M3LR and whatever software version I'm running (I'm up to date with production releases), there is a setting under Controls for Automatic Turn Signals that can be set to Auto Cancel. For me, this is the greatest thing since sliced bread. You do the half push on the stalk that would...

    Inland Platinum SSD

They looked last week, did a thumbwheel reboot, said to try that. Still having problems. Can I connect the SSD via the console USB ports instead of the glove box? This would be a test of whether this is a problem with the glove box USB port.

    Inland Platinum SSD

Has anyone used an Inland SSD drive successfully? - Inland Platinum 500GB SSD 3D NAND USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C External Solid State Drive - Micro Center 2021 M3, Long Range, picked up in the fall of that year. I was getting the USB device malfunction - I/O error warning with my 2.5 yr old Tesla...

    Charging stats for prior year

It started working! You just swipe in the graph. When I go back to 2021, it says charging data is only available starting Jan 2022, so it may be that my prior attempts failed because there was no prior data at all (relative to 2022), but now that there is both 2022 and 2023 (even though empty)...
