Stopped by today - looks like not much has changed

I missed that there were also EVGO chargers going in here, so I was very confused when I stopped by to see this and saw Tesla Energy stuff next to non-Tesla units being installed :P Tesla Energy crates Beefy charging station

Got my invoice today, no part number listed for it, and it was marked 'goodwill' and not warranty Also, noticed my horn sounds muffled, not sure what's up with that (I had them adjust my driver side headlight while they had it, it was overhanging the front a bit)

Got my car back yesterday. The 2013 P85+ loaner was decent, but it definitely shows how far Tesla has come :p I was excited to get back into my own car. Still no work order/invoice details yet (and the app still shows 'Ready for Pickup') Nothing stands out as different from a quick pic...

Tesla just swapped my car - mine is heading down to Cleveland for a few things (including getting this fixed). I got a 2013 Model S P85+ as a loaner - should be fun!

I could easily see myself dropping $4-5k to OTA upgrade to P in a couple years if the option was available. Not counting on it, but it's nice to dream :D

Some clarification (just got my invoice details): The entire steering column control module ( part 1097662-00-L ) was replaced, that's probably why they had to reprogram it. I didn't realize they did that much work! As far as the rear, ripped part, it just says "Replacement component not...

Still the same, 2018.50 7e49f8a, although I did get the notifications from the app that a new update was ready and then installed while he worked on it, he said it was a manual one they do on a car-by-car basis if needed

The Ranger just left - the part isn't available right now, and he said he didn't hear specifically that it was for a new revision, but it is possible. I also got a turn signal software update to fix it not disabling the turn signal on a half pull (which was on top of the 2018.50 I got last night)

Interesting... Tesla mobile service is coming this Friday to replace mine...so I'll find out then if there is a hold

I used the black gorilla tape, and it's still holding up after a couple weeks, although today was the first time it rained in any measurable amount. Still, seems promising!

Just talked to Tesla Service, should be hearing from the Rangers in a day or two to schedule an appointment. In my case, it was raining a decent amount, but nothing out of the ordinary. Like usual, some puddles formed at the edge of the road near the curb. I didn't think until the next day to...

Update: Got under the car to tape it up until I can get Tesla out here. Noticed it looks like a screw is missing: Taped it up with gorilla tape, and the ripped section got gorilla mounting tape between it and the car. I added some to the "good" areas to hopefully prevent those from having...
