Ok... after numerous back and forth messages, they finally cleared it up. I was given 2 options: 1) get 10% off (of the $2,000) I paid. 2) bring my car in to have the LCD replaced. Of course I'm taking option 2 :-)

My friend said he was given option of not having new LCD display for 10% off.. its confusing.
